Invitation to the EEIW 2024, Matsue
“Present Earth Surface Processes and Long-term Environmental Changes in East Eurasia”

The 18th East Eurasia International Workshop (EEIW 2024) will be held in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture from 7 to 12 October 2024, hosted by the Estuary Research Center, Shimane University.

The subtitle of the EEIW is “Present Earth Surface Processes and Long-term Environmental Changes in East Eurasia”. The EEIW was initiated in 2004 and organized by Korea, China, Mongolia, Russia, Taiwan, and Japan every year except the COVID-19 period.

EEIW 2024 is planned to have 1.5 days of scientific presentations and 2.5 days of excursions, more than 30 overseas participants are expected.
